Tea of the Month: Lemon Lavender

Updates for Goodness Sake:
Goodness Tea is having a great farm and market season. The brilliantly talented Cera and Anastassia are representing at farmers markets with me, making friends and helping get the goodness to the people! Aside from tea, Perfect Date Chocolates, Amazeballs and Wild Date Cakes, our booth provides Cera with a space at the Chimacum and Poulsbo markets to share and promote her work with The Bloodcatchers Collective, helping people flow independently. Anastassia shares her fantastic art with us at the Port Angeles Farmers market.
We have two new tea blends: Sequim Sunset and Full Moon Support. Sequim Sunset was inspired by a love of wild thriving plants. As a long time peninsula resident, adventurer and landscaper, I see a certain flora that grows with vibrant abundance (nearly everywhere!) here. Recognizing a correlation between what we need and whats available in nature, I researched their properties, fell in love and combined for a satisfying gently fruity super wholesome herbal brew. Full Moon Support riffs on classic pregnancy tonics, incorporating herbs like yarrow for its helpful circulatory properties, and hibiscus for vitamin C and beneficial flavonoids.
Our favorite tea of all time might just be Lemon Lavender. To celebrate the wonderful farming community I live in, I designed this blend to highlight lovely local lavender farms and the benefits of lemon balm. Included with this email is a Teaology Factsheet outlining the researched benefits of this bright and fruity 100% herbal tea. As always, we use only whole dried herbs, flowers, roots, seeds, barks and berries. No concentrates or extracts are ever used in our blends.
Coming up: we are working hard on our farm, harvesting lemon-balm, calendula, roses, catnip, borage, elder, mint, and nettle. These harvests will go on into the fall, and hopefully into future seasons. Stay tuned for opportunities to support us in purchasing our 4-acre farm and processing facility. We would love the assurance that long-term stewardship of the land would give for high quality ingredient sourcing and for rallying together as a community.
